Description: After finishing at 8-3 a year ago, Lexington picked up where they left off last year by bouncing Mt.Vernon 49-7. For coach B.J. Payne his club won their third straight opener. The Minutemen will entertain the Shelby Whippets next week in a battle of two teams with 1-0 records.
